Be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for this hike! This long and taxing hike will take you 8 miles - and 5700 feet - up to a pass that overlooks Lake Chelan, the Stehekin Valley, and Glacier Peak. Stretches of the trail show burn areas from the 2010 Rainbow Ridge Fire. Hikers do need to be cautious of fallen trees due to the wildfires. Well worth the effort, the view from the top is one of a kind!
