About 5 miles past Fish Lake in the Sinlahekin Valley is Blue Lake. Much like Fish Lake, Blue Lake is also a popular destination for fishing in the summer and fall months. Just beyond Blue Lake is the northern fire boundary for the 2015 Limebelt Fire. Thinking back to the Limebelt southern fire boundary south of the town of Okanogan, visitors can see just how large the scope of this fire was - the two towns are nearly 40 miles apart.
